Amazing food!!! I had the Jerk Chicken. 1st time ever having Jamaican food. Small little place full of warmth, hospitality, & culture. Seems to be family owned and operated.I understood nothing of the side conversations with the owner and other guests. But that didnt matter, it was about the experience of the culture.Thank you, ill be back.

Great Jamaican breakfast Saturday mornings just like back home.

Very disappointing. Average food at best, and overpriced. Charged me $20 for a ‘large’ peas rice (with a few pieces of jerk pork and some oxtail curry combined). Please ask for price list before ordering. Not worth it at all.

Be honest with you, i dont like the jerk chicken..becouse its fried chicken And this place is very expensive.. Medium jerk chicken and oxtail with rice and beans $35 ... Im not happy about this place.

A great place to grab an awesome quick lunch in the area. Mike and Latoya really know what they're doing here. Low key casual joint with tons of character. A must try! This is pan roasted Jerk chicken with plantain and festival done right. Delicious!

Good location, however the service was extremely rude. I asked if an item on the menu was gluten free and I got the most unnecessary and disrespectful response. She even admitted that her response was condescending. A simple yes or no was all she needed to say without the commentary.

I went to kitchen King today for the first time ever. It was greted and my order was taken by such a gorgeous sweets lady. I got fried chicken and jerk chicken and it was blessed. The jerk chicken was authentic and delicious. Can't wait to go back.

By far the worst jerk chicken I’ve ever had. Majority of the chicken was burnt and not edible, very dry with no flavour. I recommend they’re oxtail, and vegetable soup. But save yourself the disappointment. The jerk ain’t it

Food was served within 5mins of ordering. I enjoyed my oxtail, provisions and rice and peas while my friend found his fried chicken very tasty also. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Place is also super clean; that's always a plus in my book. Definitely recommend a visit. Bon àpetit!

I really enjoy the food at Kitchen King. The jerk chicken and oxtail were beyond delicious. Empress Lotoya provided excellent customer service. She is genuine and really nice. Generous serving sizes and reasonably priced. This is now my new spot for excellent cook food.

My first time that I tried their food. It was really tasty and must say they have some of the best restaurants under the same roof every food that they prepare is just delicious. I was happy with their overall service. I highly recommend this place.

Best Jamaican Restaurant hands down in Toronto. Today was my first time eating there and all I could say is wow. I ordered the Ackee and Salt Fish with provisions. I was hot and not reheated like some other restaurants I've experienced. The taste was so authentic it reminded me of Jamaica. The staff was amazing and friendly. I highy recommend Kings Kitchen

The owner was so pleasant and welcoming, a wide variety of menu items that tastes fresh.

I ordered the grilled salmon and not going to lie...I was blown away by the taste of the fish. It was well seasoned, tender and juicy (not dry like some places make it). It also came with vegetables that were just perfect (nice and crunchy, not soggy) and jasmine rice 😁 The one thing that bothered me however was that I did not get an itemized receipt, only my cardholder receipt (the one you get after paying with the machine) with the final price (this was bothersome because I paid for multiple orders). Despite this, I plan to definitely eat here again though as I really enjoyed my meal.

Absolutely the best. My Jamaican boyfriend says it is the closest to home he's ever had here. We won't go anywhere else now. It's busy, but it's worth the wait! You can see them cooking outside when you come.

Great food, great friendly customer service as well! Had both the jerk chicken and oxtail and they were amazing. Serving sizes were generous as well. It's definitely worth checking out around the corner on Progress.

The food here is fantastic! I order jerk chicken and it was amazing. The portion size is great for the price. The service was superb as Samantha gave me extra gravy on my rice during my meal! I was also given a sample of their ox tail which was delicious! Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Amazing Authentic Jamaican Food.

First time eating Jamaican food and it was amazing! LaToya was super friendly and got us our food very fast! Sad we are from out of town so we can’t eat there again!

Authentic Jamaican food. Portions are sizeable and the food is fresh. They cook their jerk outside year round which is the real way to jerk meat. Mostly a take out joint, but they have a small bar and a few tables to eat at. Service is friendly. Overall, a good experience.

Very clean and welcoming restaurant. They offer generous portions and for inexpensive rates. I enjoyed the food a lot and the staff members were very affable and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this place.

Yesterday was the first time we went to this excellent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the efficient service, with the finest cooking and booze and with the decent price. We will surely go back there in a short time.

This place is worth a try. They serve large portions for reasonable prices. Regularly well organized and with awesome atmosphere. Will come visit again.

Fantastic jerk chicken. House made hot sauce is some of the best.Edit: decided to update my review since they've moved. New location is bright, fresh. Food is still awesome. Kitchen King remains one of my favorite lunch spots in the area.
